sustainable style
for every season and reason

Being trendy is not for us, but slow fashion… now THAT’S a philosophical trend we can stand behind. There’s never time for fast fashion, and thankfully, being mindful of who, where, and how clothes are made is now in style.

Born in 2013, Verdalina is proud to be Richmond’s exclusive source for slow-philosophy pieces with lasting style and quality using fair trade, organic, and environmentally responsible materials. We offer clothing, accessories, and apothecary from small producers who have a passion for design and sustainable practices.

Where aesthetic choices and sweatshop-free production practices intersect, the lines we carry represent designers with a new energy in fashion; with a deliberate departure from creating textile waste and not having a disposable attitude towards clothing.

Classic but never stodgy, made in small batches with attention to detail in renewable materials, that’s what you’ll find at Verdalina. We want whatever you choose from your closet to make you feel good inside and out— tomorrow, next month, next year… our sales associates are here to help, in person, on the phone or online.

Deborah Boschen

Verdalina was a dream of Deborah’s made manifest. With a deep history in Richmond’s fashion scene it only made sense that she’d bring her certain je ne sais quois to a store of her own. Deborah is dedicated to choosing designers with a new energy and outlook— that design and produce ethically, and eschew a one-season-only approach to fashion.
